American Civil War Museum Richmond, VA
This is actually a collection of three destinations. The first is Historic Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond which was a major industrial and financial resource to the confederacy during the Civil War; the second is The White House of the Confederacy where Jefferson Davis lived, also in Richmond (tours available); while the third is the Museum of the Confederacy in Appomattox, VA which is ground zero for all things Confederate. All of these buildings have been restored and contain exhibits inside.
