Fire Control Tower 23 Cape May Point State Park, NJ


Drive out to Cape May to the Cape May Point Park. Here you’ll find one of the best examples of a WWII fire control tower. Built in 1943, Tower 23 was one of the 15 towers that formed a defensive perimeter around the approaches to Delaware Bay. Tower 23 remains and has been restored and refurbished including a spiral staircase inside. It is open to the public.
