“An absolute gem of aviation history displayed in an impeccable environment.”
My first taste of aviation came from an early childhood visit to the National Air and Space Museum. I still to this day have the picture in my mind of the highly polished F-104 “Widow Maker” hanging from the ceiling, inspiring in me a passion for speed and adventure.
Later in life, after spending 12 years in the Air Force flying the F-15, I was asked to speak at the Seattle Museum Of Flight. This place was an absolute gem of aviation history displayed in an impeccable environment. An incredible building with huge windows overlooking the airport and Boeing, I always felt like I was in the moment. My client had positioned the podium in front of the SR-71 display and I can honestly say this was one of my favorite places to deliver a keynote in my 25 years of professional speaking. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend a visit to Seattle specifically to visit this special place in aviation.
